Directions

Step 1

Mix wheat flour, methi leaves, tomato, oil, and salt in a bowl to form a smooth dough. Knead well for 5-7 minutes.

Step 2

Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a thin circle on a lightly floured surface.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick pan over medium flame. Place the rolled thepla on it and cook for 1-2 minutes until bubbles appear.

Step 4

Flip the thepla and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes.

Step 5

Brush lightly with oil and cook for an additional 30 seconds on each side for crispiness.

Step 6

Remove from the pan and serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
