Lauki Ka Halwa Recipe in Urdu





    Cooking Method

    1. Peel bottle gourds then remove the seeds.
    2. Grate bottle gourd properly.
    3. Now boil grated bottle gourd in small quantity of water until tender.
    4. Drain and keep aside.
    5. Heat a clarified butter in a pan on low heat.
    6. Add boiled bottle gourd and fry for 5 minutes or until all water dries up.
    7. Now add sugar and kewra essence.
    8. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes or until sugar has dissolved.
    9. Add dried milk.
    10. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
    11. Take it out in a serving bowl.
    12. Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
    13. Delicious Lauki Ka Halwa is ready to serve.

    250 gm dry milk powder
    50 gm almonds sliced
    50 gm pistachios sliced
    2 tbsp kewra essence
