Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a kadai and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Step 2

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Step 3

Stir in ginger and garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

Step 4

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Step 5

Add chicken pieces, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6

Mix saffron in warm water and add to the kadai. Stir well.

Step 7

Cover and simmer for 15 minutes until chicken is cooked. Garnish with green chilies.
