Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water and grind the rice into a coarse paste.

In a deep pan, bring milk to a boil. Lower the heat and add the rice paste, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

Add sugar and cardamom powder, mixing well until the sugar dissolves completely.

Turn off the heat and add rose water. Pour the phirni into serving bowls and let it cool.
