Directions

Step 1

Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes.

Add yogurt, cumin, saffron, and salt to the chicken. Cook until the chicken is tender.

Step 6

Layer the cooked rice and chicken in a large pot, garnishing each layer with fried onions. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
