Directions

Step 1

Soak saffron in 2 Tbsp of warm water and set aside. Grind cashews into a fine paste with a little water.

Heat oil in a pan, fry onions until golden brown. Remove and blend into a paste.

In the same pan, add ginger and garlic paste, sauté for a minute. Add chicken and cook until browned.

Add onion paste, yogurt, and cashew paste to the chicken. Stir well to combine.

Step 5

Add saffron water, pomegranate seeds, and basil leaves. Cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

Step 6

Sprinkle garam masala, adjust salt to taste, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot.
