Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown.

Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and let the beef cook in its juices for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once the beef is tender, add garam masala and cook uncovered for another 10 minutes to thicken the sauce.
