    1. To begin making the Banana Walnut and Chocolate Chip cupcakes, first preheat the oven to 175 C and prepare the cup cake tray by lining them with cupcake liners. You can bake the cake without the liners, just make sure to grease and flour the tray before using. Also get all the ingredients ready and keep them aside.
    2. In the large bowl or the bowl of the stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat the butter (oil), sugar and eggs (flaxmeal egg replacer) together utill well combined.
    3. Gradually add in the flour, baking powder, vanilla essence and mashed bananas. Beat them all together until well combined about 3 minutes. Finally fold in the walnuts and the chocolate chips.
    4. Spoon in the cake batter into the cup cake tray and set it into the oven to bake. Bake for about 12- 15 minutes or until done by inserting a toothpick or knife at the center and it should come out clean.
    5. Turn off the oven and remove the cupcakes from the oven and allow them to cool.
    6. Serve the Banana Walnut Chocolate Chip Cupcake Recipe along with Peanut Butter Lassi (Yogurt Smoothie) to make delicious snack for your kids.

    1 cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
    1 cup Ripe Bananas , mashed
    1/2 cup Brown Sugar (Demerara Sugar)
    3/4 cup Canola Oil
    1-1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
    1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
    1/4 cup Walnuts , toasted
    1/2 cup Dark chocolate , chopped [any dark chocolate brand that you like to eat]
    2 tablespoons Flax seed powder (flax meal)
    6 tablespoons Chilled water
