Directions

Step 1

Clean and devein the prawns. Marinate with turmeric and salt. Set aside for 10 minutes.

Soak mustard seeds in water for 15 minutes. Grind into a smooth paste with garlic and chili powder.

Heat oil in a pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add the mustard paste to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

Add marinated prawns and cook until they turn pink and are fully cooked.

Mix tamarind paste with water and add to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
