Daal kay Patties Recipe in Urdu





    Cooking Method

    1. Wash Bengal gram then soak in water for 30 minutes.
    2. After 30 minutes boil Bengal gram until soft.
    3. Heat oil in a pan.
    4. Add onions and cook for 3-4 minutes.
    5. Now add red chili flakes, boiled Bengal gram, boiled potato, yogurt and salt.
    6. Cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
    7. Add green chilies and coriander leaves.
    8. Cook for 5 minutes or until all water dries up.
    9. Turn the stove off.
    10. Take it out in a bowl and keep aside.
    11. Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
    12. Roll puff pastry into a round bread by using rolling pin.
    13. Now cut it in circles with a round cutter.
    14. Take a one slice, spread gram mixture over it.
    15. Then apply beaten egg on the edges.
    16. Now place another slice to seal.
    17. Apply egg on it.
    18. Place it on a greased baking tray.
    19. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
    20. Delicious Daal key Patties are ready to serve.

    500 gm puff pastry
    125 gm yogurt plain
    1 egg lightly beaten
    1 onion chopped
    1 potato boiled
    4 green chilies chopped
    1/4 bunch fresh coriander leaves chopped
    3tbsp oil
    1 tbsp red chili flakes
    to taste salt
