Chicken Pateela Tikka Recipe in Urdu





    Cooking Method

    1. Make deep slits in chicken leg pieces.
    2. In a bowl, combine together yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt to taste.
    3. Squeeze a lemon juice over it.
    4. Mix well and make a fine paste.
    5. Apply this paste on the chicken pieces.
    6. Marinate chicken for at least 4 hours.
    7. After 4 hours, heat oil in a cooking pot.
    8. Put marinated chicken in hot oil.
    9. Cook for 5 minutes or until its change colour.
    10. Now add a cup of water.
    11. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat.
    12. Cover and let it simmer 15-20 minutes.
    13. Increase the flame to let excess water evaporate.
    14. Take it out in a serving dish.
    15. Delicious Chicken Pateela Tikka is ready to serve.

    125 gm yogurt plain

    4 tbsp vegetable oil
    2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    2 tbsp red chili powder
    1 tbsp turmeric powder

    few coriander leaves for garnishing
