Directions

Step 1

Wash and cut chicken into medium-sized cubes. Place the chicken pieces in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

In the bowl, add yogurt, cream, ginger paste, garlic paste, finely chopped green chili, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly.

Step 3

Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to absorb the flavors.

Step 4

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.

Step 5

Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat. Brush the skewers lightly with oil to avoid sticking.

Step 6

Grill the chicken skewers for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through and lightly charred.

Step 7

If using an oven, bake at 200°C for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Step 8

Once cooked, remove the skewers and serve hot with naan, rice, or salad.
