Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan and add fennel seeds. Let them sizzle for a few seconds.

Step 2

Add curry leaves, chopped onions, and sauté until golden brown.

Step 3

Add ginger and garlic paste. Cook until the raw smell disappears.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.

Grind roasted coconut into a smooth paste and add it to the pan.

Add biryani masala, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and sauté for 3 minutes.

Pour enough water to cover the chicken. Cover and cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.

Remove the lid and simmer to thicken the gravy to your desired consistency.
