PERFECT PHULKA
Ingredients
1½ cups whole wheat flour
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon oil + 1 teaspoon
Ghee for brushing
Method
1. Mix together whole wheat flour, salt and oil in a parat along with water, as required. Knead to soft dough.
2. Add 1 teaspoon oil and knead again till soft.
3. Cover with a moist muslin cloth and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
4. Divide the prepared dough into 12 equal portions and roll into discs.
1. Heat a non-stick tawa and place a roti on it. Roast lightly on both sides, take it off the tawa and place on direct flame till it puffs up. Turn-over and let the other side puff too.
5. Serve with ghee.
