  3. Madam Tarla you were an angel. This low oil version is very healthy and heavenly. Thank you very much for sharing. I love Undhiyu and this low oil one is my most favorite recipe.

  4. This is much better and simpler (also healthy) recipe compared to other I saw. One question- Why keep banana with peel for cooking? The peel may have pesticides and chemicals on it. Can we just use peeled banana?

  5. When I first arrived in US in the late 70's, Tarla Dalal's recipe book was my prized procession. I still have it, a bit worn out though. I occasionally refer to Ms. Dalal's recipes, they are easy to follow and the food turns out delicious. Thank you Ms. Dalal and your Oondhiya recipe is flavorful and sumptuous.
