National’s Oil Free Chicken Rice in Urdu Recipe
1 medium chicken, jointed
1 ½ cups ground roasted groundnuts
1 small Onion
¼ inch piece Ginger
Handful of Coriander leaves
1 tsp. each of garam masala, ground Cumin seeds and Coriander seeds
National Salt and chilli powder to taste
1 cup curds, beaten
4 hard boiled eggs, boiled, shelled and quartered
2 cups hot boiled rice
Grind onion, ginger, chillies and coriander leaves.
Mix into the spices, curds and tomatoes and groundnuts.
Put in a pan and cook over a medium fire until the chicken is tender and gravy thick.
Put the rice in the centre of a plate and arrange the chicken around it. Decorate with eggs.
