National’s Badami (Almond) Qorma recipe in Urdu
Chopped onions 3 cups
Green cardamom 4-5 pieces
Clove (long) 3-4pieces
Dar cheeni 1 piece
Bay leaf (Tez patta) 1piece
Black pepper 3-4 pieces
National Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Yogurt 1/2 kg
Crushed red chilies 2 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tbsp
Crushed garam masala 1 tbsp
Khashkhash paste 1-1/2 tbsp
Almonds 4-5 pieces
Essence (kewra) 2 drops
National Salt according to taste

Fry chopped onions in pre-heated ghee.
Then add green cardamom & cloves (long) in a separate pan.
Also add dar cheeni, bay leaf & black pepper in the above pan.
Fry them all.
After a while add mutton & National ginger-garlic paste in the above mixture.
Then fry it lightly.
After that add yogurt, crushed red chilies, turmeric & add National salt.
Now add crushed garam masala.
Cook the dish well until the mutton get tender.
Add khashkhash paste, almond paste & roasted-crushed onions in the above dish.
Finally add almonds as needed for garnishing purpose.
Add essence (kewra).
The dish is ready to be served.
