A great way to sneak in veggies, this creamy Methi Besan ki Sabzi tastes best when served alongside garma garam chapatti.
METHI BESAN KI SABZI
Ingredients
¾ cup gram flour (besan)
1 cup chopped fenugreek leaves (methi)
1 tbsp oil
2-3 green chillies, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
½ tbsp ginger paste
½ tbsp ginger paste
¼ cup rice flour
½ lemon
4 tbsps yogurt
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp Tata Sampann Red Chilli Powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Chopped coriander for garnish
Chapatis to serve
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan, add green chillies, onion and sauté till translucent.
2. Add ginger paste, garlic paste and mix well. Cook for 1 minute. Add besan, rice flour and mix well.
3. Add 1½ cups water and mix till well combined and lumps free. Squeeze lemon, add yogurt and sugar. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Continuously keep mixing till the mixture thickens and becomes smooth.
4. Add methi leaves and mix well. Cook for 1 minute and take it off the heat. Transfer to a serving plate.
5. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with chapatis.
