  1. I trained as a chef many years back and one thing you would never do in my circles is dis another Chef which is what Gordon did. Ramsay needs to realise that Jamie is Not super innovative but neither is he. Very few chefs or amateur cooks can be that creative as there really is little to add to what is already done. Ramsay was all about reproducing what he had learned in France post his C&G's and in recent times he has read a few Asian cookery books. A great chef will specialise in one style of cuisine, it's very hard to become excellent at all styles. Jamie specialises in Italian and is very good at that and dabbles for the show with other styles. Once these guys get the the Tv gig they can build on their tv fame to make out that they have this huge experience and knowledge which is all fake.

  2. "The process of drying the shiitake mushroom improves its overall nutritional value. Just one example is vitamin D, which increases from 4 IU in one serving of raw mushrooms to 26 IU when dried."

  3. Gordon says Jamie is a great chef. What humility and honesty on Gordons behalf, even though Jamie has no Michelin stars. I watched a documentary where I think Gordon taught Jamie, when Jamie was doing an apprenticeship under Gordon.

  4. Gordon, your hot and sour soup seems a bit different than what actual Chinese people put in. Also is that shiitake mushroom dont look its been dried up. When Chinese uses shiitake mushrooms, we usually uses dried ones.
