Hiya! Today we will discuss about Honey Garlic Prawns | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana



A quick and easy stir fry recipe of prawns with honey and garlic flavours served over a bed of fried noodles.

HONEY GARLIC PRAWNS

Ingredients

12-16 medium prawns, shelled and deveined
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
1 tablespoon ginger paste
½ cup light soy sauce
2 tablespoons vinegar
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
4 tablespoons butter
16-20 broccoli florets, blanched
Fried noodles for serving
Chopped spring onion greens for garnishing

Method

1. Mix together ginger paste, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar and honey in a bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well and pour into a zip lock bag. Add prawns, seal and set aside to marinate for 25-30 minutes.
2. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add just the prawns and cook for a minute. Reserve the marinade.
3. Add broccoli, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the marinade remaining in the zip lock bag, mix and cook till fully done.
4. Place fried noodles on a serving plate. Top with prawns, drizzle the sauce over, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
