Fish is a high protein, low calorie food, and is rich in omega 3 acids. These acids are very important for a healthy lifestyle, and cannot be produced by our bodies naturally. Some of the specific benefits are:

Asthma:

One serving of a fish is ideal for your health. Kids who eat fish are less likely to have Asthma. The  amount of consumption for kids is less than for adults however, because they may be more susceptible to the potential toxins in the fish.

Diabetes:

Fish oil helps to reduce sugar level in your blood which may help people to reduce the risk of diabetes.

Inflammatory Condition:

It helps with a variety of inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, psoriasis and autoimmune disease. The fatty acid in fish contain can help to reduce inflammation.

Brain Development:

Fish specially tuna and salmon with high level of fatty acids may help to develop brain tissues. These acids could even help with ADHD disorders.

Eyesight:

The consumption of fish is beneficial for eyesight. Omega 3 acid in fish develops  retinal tissue.  Babies who are breastfed by their mothers who are eating fish tend to have better eyesight, because they receive all the nutrients of the omega 3 fatty acids through their mother
