She has a classic guacamole recipe but this one has a surprising, if authentic, twist – crushed grasshoppers! A common snack in Mexico these roasted bugs add a smoky flavour and a tea like aroma that works really well with the freshness of the ripe avocado, chilli and lime juice in the guacamole. Go on, be brave, you won’t regret it.
