  1. You need to start baking with sourdough starter. It's this
Unfermented yeast doughs that's killing people. Besides bread baked with a sourdough starter has a more intense flavor and aroma. FYI

  2. For cooking noobs like myself this video is great.  The teacher was great because when she told the girl to do something she said why or what would happen if it wasn't done.  That really makes you remember.  Don't know what her name is but thank you for a great lesson.  Have never cooked bread before but I will do this over the weekend, looked simple and tasty

  3. Hmm..some negative comments here, which I find unwarranted. I really thought the girl made a great video. She has enthusiasm and a certain degree of expertise which will grow. What she doesn't need is troll comments, of which I hope she doesn't read, or if she does she will use in a positive way.
Yes – I agree that I wouldn't make focaccia exactly like this, but you trolls miss the point! It works, it's her recipe, she is creating!
And I for one applaud her for a great video 🙂

  4. This teacher is a gem, very cute. But, that's not how you make focaccia. No oil in the dough, completely beat it down for the second rise, and then a rolling pin? Ouch.

  5. i allways assumed focaccia was supposed to be an airy and light bread with lots of oil, and not like that compact bread they show in this video, maybe my local bakery have made it wrong all this years

  6. What a creepy focaccia bread!

Consequence of excess of yeast, and short fermentation process…..Jaimie Oliver is only good at teaching crap stuff for an audience who is used to very low standards….

  7. I tried this with some modifications. Followed the techniques and proofing times and it came out wonderfully soft and airy. The family loved it plus it was actually easy to make. For me personally it was good but i prefer more strong flavors. So the family said use the bread to dip in

  8. For those who are confused about the yeast, she said 3 sachets and they only showed her put in 1. The other 2 were edited out to keep the video from getting dull. Viewers don't need to see all three to know how to do it.
