  1. Brilliant episode. Loved the Sri Sri aside on dals, and the bit about including more millets in our meals for both our own nutrition and our farmers' well-being. Also the "less is more" tip on tempering dal. So much in this episode (barring the ghoongat comment). Thanks!

  2. दल- पिट्ठी है ये तो । मछली जैसा आकार बना कर भी डाला करते थे हम बचपन में और अब भी।
    एक और तरह का बनता है,जिसे पिट्ठा बोलते है। आटा को कचौरी जैसा बना कर उसमें मसालेदार-पिसी हुई दाल( भीगी हुई साबुत दाल को दरदरा पीसकर,मसाले मिलाया जाता है) भरकर उबलते हुए पानी में पकाया जाता है।👍
