Try this dahi wala chicken with some garma garam paranthe for your dinner. It’s going to be your family’s favourite too!
DAHI CHICKEN
Ingredient
1 cup yogurt
750 grams chicken on bone, cut into small pieces
10-15 green cardamoms
7-8 cloves
10-15 black peppercorns
2 tbsps ginger garlic paste
2 tbsps lemon juice
2 tbsps butter
2 medium onions, finely copped
3 green chillies, chopped
Salt to taste
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
1. Combine together green cardamom, cloves and black peppercorns and grind into fine powder.
2. Marinate the chicken with the ground powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and yogurt in a bowl and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
3. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Add onion, green chillies and sauté till onion is translucent.
4. Add marinate chicken, coriander and mix well cook on high heat for 5 minutes, cover and cook for 20-25 minutes on medium heat. Stirring occasionally.
5. Serve hot and garnish with coriander sprig.
