Bake these chocolate chip loaded cookies, crunchy and yummy! This easy recipe will surely bring a smile at your kid’s face.
CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE FRIES
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter
1 cup castor sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
¼ cup chocolate chips
Method
1. Preheat the oven at 180˚C.
2. In a large bowl, sieve flour and baking powder. Set aside.
3. In an electric mixing bowl, add butter, sugar, and cream the mixture using a whisk attachment.
4. Break in the egg and add vanilla essence and cream till well combined.
5. Change the attachment to hook and add the flour, mix well till a dough is formed. Add chocolate chips and mix well.
6. Cling wrap the dough and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
7. Place the dough in between two parchment sheets and roll it into a thin sheet. Trip the edges to shape it like rectangle.
8. Cut the dough into strips to resemble French fries. Transfer them on a baking tray and refrigerate for 8-10 minutes.
9. Bake for 5-8 minutes.
