Brazilian cuisine is a result of a combination of key ingredients brought by different cultures that arrived into our country. It all started with the colonisation by the Portuguese in the 16th century. During our history many other different nationalities introduced a variety of elements and dishes for example the Italians (pizza, pasta), the Spanish (empanadillas – empadinhas), the Arabs (spiha, lamb, kibbeh), the Chinese and Japanese (wontons – pastels). On 12th January, Friday, an event was organized on the theme of Brazil which was Brazilian Night at Nadia Cafe – Marriott Karachi.
From starters to main course to desserts it was all Brazilian. Everything was based on Brazilian theme from Brazilian food to the décor. People wearing traditional Brazilian clothes and a playlist was purely Brazilian. The aroma of deliciousness of sea food to the juiciness of Beef and Lamb, the flavorful authentic Brazilian Dessert , everything was outstanding, in terms of taste and appearance.
Everything was perfect whether it was the ambiance of Café Nadia, or the taste of Brazilian Night food. The overall staff was so friendly and it was made comfortable for everyone specially by Executive Chef Antonio. Overall it was a unique and great event held at Marriot last week.
These kind of events should happen in Pakistan so that people should know about different cuisine of the world. Marriot is one of the hotels which always comes up with different ideas of events which are always eye catching and tempting.
