  1. The most heart warming thing to me is the mother son and daughter in law relationship, it’s unheard of in the uk, but Indians have this the best in the world, bless them

  2. I wish someone like Gordon would come to blyth NE24 and teach them how to make curry, every store ive ordered from they cant cook, its bland, you can actually taste the undercooked gritty texture and flavours of the spices, its not got a correct gravy.
Even the meat is devoid of fat, and the bone nowhere to be tasted. (the fat and bone create a unique flavour in curry, its not only incredibly cheap, its impossible to replicate with powders.) (they do take them out before they serve, but anyone who has had a buttery lamb curry will know instantly the difference between than and the cubes of granny choking tasteless tough meat they end up with without it. (its also why in a restaurant your curry will always taste FAR superior and more flavorful than take-away.)
Marinate the meat – blyth possibly does not know what that is, let alone prepare meats for the next sittings etc.

  3. Fortunately Michelin don't base their stars around decor. Rather on service and food. Sorry to argue this point again but this restaurant had no negatives AT ALL, and still lost out to a modern Italian restaurant who were punching way above their weight, and who received several complaints. Hope their bookings are through the roof, they deserve it.

  4. @ryan choi Hard Rock Cafe is a chain restaurant. Hardly a comparison. If ramsay sends in people looking to point out faults and there isn't any, they deserve to win the competition.

  5. I could care less what a restaurant looked like to be honest. If the service and food are up to standard then I don't see any real problem. Because they don't have stereotypical Indian decor doesn't mean that they're doing their job wrong. Hands down, they should have won this competition.
