    My mom also makes this besan tikka as u called it…
    We baneye(gahoi) call it reh-hen…
    We use to dip these tikkas/barfi in chach(buttermilk)….with a takka over it.
    It is called as reh hen raita.
    Or else deepfry it a serve with tea.
    U gave us a new idea to make it in a gravy…nice

  4. Bangla mey to hum ise ' Dhokar Dalna' bulate hai. Ye Dhoka besan se bhi banaya jata ya pani mey soak Kiya hua dal ko paste karke bhi banaya jata hai. Dhokar Dalna ki gravy mey generally onion-garlic nehi dala jata, lekin chahe to dal bhi sakte.
