Chicken drumsticks ½ kg
Balsamic vinegar ½ cup
Honey ½ cup
Brown sugar ½ cup
Soya sauce ¼ cup
Rosemary 1 tbsp
Garlic cloves, halved 5
Toasted sesame seeds 2 tbsp
parsley Chopped ¼ cup
Combine the balsamic, honey, brown sugar, soya sauce, rosemary and garlic cloves in a pan, heat until the honey and brown sugar dissolve. Add in the chicken drumsticks and marinate for 2 hours in fridge. Meanwhile, place the marinade in a small saucepan. Bring the marinade to a boil, reduce the heat to simmer and cook over low heat until thick, about 15 minutes. Reserve. Use a pastry brush to brush some of the cooked marinade on the chicken. Place the chicken on a serving platter. Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and the chopped parsley
Chocolate almond clusters:
Semisweet chocolate 8 oz.
roasted salted almonds 1 -1/2 cups
Melt chocolate. Stir in almonds and mix until evenly coated. Drop 1 spoonful of mixture into mini-muffin cups or onto waxed paper. Refrigerate 20 minutes or until set. Chocolate clusters can be refrigerated in an airtight container up to 1 month.
Chocolate candies 1- 1/2 cups
Butter 1 cup
Brown sugar 1- ½ cups
Vanilla essence 2 tsp
flour 2- ¼ cups
salt ¼ tsp
baking powder ½ tsp
Beat butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add in vanilla and eggs. Fold in flour, baking powder and salt. Drop slightly rounded tablespoons about 2-inches apart onto greased baking sheets. Flatten cookies slightly and press few smarties into top of each. Bake at 190 degrees c for 8 to 9 minutes.
