Baghare Chana Chaat:
Ingredients:
Yellow food color ¼ tsp
Water as required
Potatoes cubed 2
Red chili powder ½ tsp
Red chilies crushed ½ tsp
Cumin seeds roasted & crushed 1 tbsp
Salt ½ tsp
Chaat masala ½ tbsp
Dried mango powder ½ tbsp
Lemon juice 1
Oil ¼ Cup
Onion chopped 1
Curry leaves 10-15
Chickpeas boiled 3 Cups
Potatoes boiled & cubed 2
Tomato chopped 1
Green chilies 2
Fresh coriander chopped 2 tbsp
Assembling:
Yogurt whisked as required
Sev as required
Fresh coriander as required
Method:
Heat water. Add yellow food color, potatoes and boil until potatoes are tender, drain & set aside. Mix red chili powder, red chilies crushed, cumin seeds, salt, chaat masala, dried mango powder, lemon juice, water and set aside. Heat oil fry onions till light golden. Add curry leaves and prepared spice mixture and sauté, add boiled chickpeas and mix. Add potatoes, tomato, green chilies, fresh coriander and mix. Just before serving, add chickpeas, yogurt, sev, fresh coriander & serve.
Spicy Chicken Wings:
Ingredients:
Chicken wings ½ kg
Chicken powder 1 sachet
Oil 2 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Garlic crushed 1 clove
Ground cumin 1 tsp
Oregano 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Paprika ½ tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp Dipitt
Ketchup 1 tbsp Dipitt
Method:
In a bowl combine oil, chicken powder,
lemon juice, garlic, cumin, oregano, chili powder,
paprika, salt and pepper. Mix in chili garlic sauce
and ketchup. Marinate chicken wings in it and let
stand for a few hours. Cook covered in a dawlance product with
the marination till done. Serve hot.
Ice Lollies:
Ingredients:
Qarshi syrup 2 tbsp
Basil seeds 2 tbsp
Water as required
Sugar 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Method:
Soak the basil seeds in a cup of water. Add qarshi to the soaked basil seeds after 30 minutes. Add water and sugar if required. Fill in the popsicle moulds and freeze for an hour. Serve frozen.
