  1. Word of advice: If you're not gonna act professional, treat your staff professionally, and have a clear, enforceable rules/policies, then don't expect your business to be a success or expect your employees to care about anything. If the employees are lazy and what not, you, the owner, are to blame.

  2. I'm back of house, but uh yeah, the pretty girl will be requested more often by regulars, and also this is due to sections. If she is given the booths over tables, her chances of being sat are more likely, tipping a busboy on wage isn't %20. More like $10 a waiter(Server, sorry I wasn't being pc) on top of their hourly. I feel like busboys and dishwashers went ape shit on this comment section lol.

  3. If Sarah wants to serve all the tables and make all the money why not just fire the other waiters and have Sarah do it? Tipping the busboy? His job is to clean the tables. Sarah is the one who's making the good impression on the guests that's getting them to pay the tips. Not the busboy.

  4. This makes no sense at all I mean when you work ofc you're there to make as much money as you can who cares if everyone else can't make as much

  5. Pretty little thot has obviously been spoiled all her life bc of her looks and has probably never had to work for anything in her life until she got this job. Useless glory muffin who needs to be out the door.

  6. “I tip him 20- I tip him more than 20%!l
“Did she tip you more than 20%?”
    “No.”
”I’m not going to tip him 20% if he-“
Me- Uhhhhhh…. didn’t you just said you tip him more than %?

  7. Why should a busboy get 20% of waitress' tips? I can explain. I didn't know it either, until my daughter worked as a busgirl in a restaurant for a summer job.
The tables are divided between waiters and waitresses. Only they are allowed to take the tip. Not busboys. If busboy comes to work in the morning he will be told with what waitress he will be working that day. The busboy helps to serve the customers, helps to clean the table, helps customers with random stuff. Even if the waitress doesn't go to a table even once, but busboy does all the work, the tip still goes to the waitress, who's table it was. Even if I, a customer, say that hey busboy, I want to give you 20 bucks, because you provided such a good service, he doesn't see that money. He is not allowed to take it. The waitress will get it and should give the busboy 20%. Did my daughter got it? Hell no.

  8. Servers are suppose to get as many tips as they can since they get such a low wage, it's like theyre semi self employed. The owners are in the wrong, id have quit and gone somewhere better too.
