Directions

Step 1

Soak the saffron in 2 Tbsp warm water for 10 minutes. Set aside.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix chicken, ginger, garlic, coriander, cumin, and salt. Form into small balls.

Heat oil in a pan. Fry the koftas until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté onions until translucent. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.

Add yogurt, garam masala, and saffron water. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add koftas to the gravy. Cook for an additional 10 minutes. Serve hot with naan or rice.
