Directions

Step 1

Soak saffron in warm milk and set aside. Rinse rice and soak for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger, garlic, and spices. Let it sit for 20 minutes.

Fry onions until golden brown. Remove half for garnish and set aside.

Step 4

Add marinated chicken to the pan with onions and cook until tender.

Add chopped tomatoes and green chilies.

Step 6

Boil rice with whole spices until 70% cooked. Drain and layer over chicken.

Step 7

Drizzle saffron milk and coriander over rice. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
