Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a karahi over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add onions and sauté until golden brown.

Step 3

Stir in ginger and garlic paste, cook for 2 minutes.

Add chicken pieces, stirring continuously until they are lightly browned.

Step 5

Add tomatoes, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.

Step 6

Cover and let it simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 7

Uncover, add garam masala and green chilies, cook for another 5 minutes.

Step 8

Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving hot with naan or rice.
