Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a kadhai and add ajwain seeds. Let them splutter.

Step 2

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Step 3

Add ginger and garlic paste, cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Add chicken pieces, turmeric, coriander, and red chili powder. Stir well.

Step 5

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until tomatoes soften and oil separates.

Step 6

Add fresh methi leaves and mix well. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 7

Check seasoning, adjust salt as needed, and cook until chicken is tender.

Step 8

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
