Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add garlic and ginger paste to the onions. Stir well for 2 minutes.

Add turmeric and red chili powder. Mix thoroughly.

Add chicken pieces to the pan. Cook until the chicken is browned on all sides.

Stir in salt and green chilies. Cover and let it cook for 15 minutes.

Step 6

In a blender, make a paste of coriander leaves with a little water. Add this to the chicken.

Step 7

Cook for another 10 minutes until the oil separates from the gravy. Serve hot.
