Directions

Step 1

Rinse the rice and cook it with the appropriate amount of water. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.

Step 2

Mix the cooked rice with a pinch of salt and sesame oil. Set aside.

Step 3

Blanch the spinach in boiling water for 30 seconds. Drain and season with a little soy sauce and sesame oil.

Julienne the carrot and sauté in a pan for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Beat the eggs, cook into a flat omelet, and slice into thin strips.

Slice the pickled radish into long thin strips if not pre-sliced.

Step 7

Marinate the beef in soy sauce and sugar for 10 minutes, then stir-fry until cooked through.

Step 8

Place a seaweed sheet on a bamboo mat. Spread a thin layer of rice over the sheet, leaving 1 inch at the top edge.

Step 9

Layer spinach, carrot, egg, beef, and pickled radish horizontally in the center of the rice.

Step 10

Carefully roll the sheet tightly using the mat. Slice into even pieces and serve with dipping sauce or kimchi.
