Directions

Step 1

Wash and clean the spinach and mustard leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt.

Step 2

Boil the greens in water for about 30 minutes until they become soft and tender.

Step 3

Drain the water and mash the greens into a coarse paste using a blender or hand masher.

Step 4

Heat butter in a large pan over medium flame.

Step 5

Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Add minced garlic and ginger. Cook for 2–3 minutes.

Add chopped green chilies and stir for another minute.

Mix in turmeric, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until spices release their aroma.
