Directions

Step 1

In a large bowl, add minced beef and mash lightly using hands to soften the fibers.

Finely chop the onion, tomato, and green chilies, then add them to the meat.

Dry roast coriander seeds and cumin for a minute, then crush them using a mortar and pestle.

Add crushed spices, pomegranate seeds, salt, and gram flour to the mixture.

Crack in the egg to bind everything together and mix thoroughly until well combined.

Let the mixture rest for 20 minutes to allow flavors to develop.

Shape the meat mixture into round, flat patties about the size of your palm.

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry the kababs until golden brown on both sides.

Place the cooked kababs on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 10

Serve hot with naan, sliced onions, and mint chutney or yogurt raita.
