Directions

Step 1

Grind mustard seeds into a fine paste and set aside.

Step 2

Chop onions, garlic, and cilantro finely.

Step 3

Mince green chilies.

Step 4

In a bowl, mix ground meat with half of the chopped onions, garlic, ginger, cumin powder, and salt to form kofta balls.

Heat oil in a pan, fry kofta balls until golden brown, and remove. Set aside.

In the same pan, add remaining onions, garlic, and mustard paste. Cook until onions are translucent.

Add turmeric powder, green chilies, and cilantro. Stir well, then add koftas and simmer for 15 minutes.

Adjust salt to taste and garnish with cilantro before serving.
