Directions

Step 1

Soak saffron in 2 tablespoons of warm water and set aside.

Step 2

Mince chicken with garlic and ginger.

Step 3

Add cumin, coriander, and salt.

Step 4

Mix well to form a smooth mixture.

Step 5

Shape the chicken mixture into small balls (koftas).

Step 6

Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden. Remove and set aside.

Step 7

In the same pan, sauté onions until translucent. Add tomatoes and cook until soft.

Step 8

Blend onion-tomato mixture to a smooth paste. Return to pan, add cream, saffron water, and garam masala. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 9

Add koftas to the gravy and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
