Guacamole loaded Nachos with Beans, Nachos with Guacamole and Beans
Guacamole, an outta-this-world topping for nachos, is something you would surely have enjoyed at Mexican restaurants. This recipe will show you that this exotic stuff is quite simple to make at home, and in fact, it tastes so scrumptious and even more delicious when you make it fresh. You will really relish the juiciness of the veggies and the creaminess of avocados, not to forget their vibrant fresh taste, all of which combine fantastically with baked beans, tangy sauces and of course, cheese, to transform crisp nacho chips into an exotic treat! Assemble and bake the Nachos with Guacamole and Beans just before serving, to enjoy the best texture.
Preparation Time: 15 minutes.
Cooking Time: Nil.
Serves 2.
Baking Temperature: 200°C (400°F).
Baking Time: 10 minutes.
2 cups nacho chips or tortilla chips
½ cup baked beans (canned)
1 tsp chilli sauce
½ cup grated processed cheese
For the guacamole
½ cup mashed ripe avocado
1 tbsp finely chopped onions
2 tbsp finely chopped tomatoes
½ tsp finely chopped green chillies
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste
For the guacamole
Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl, mix well and keep aside.
How to proceed
1. Arrange the tortilla chips evenly in a shallow baking dish, top it with baked beans, chilli sauce and guacamole and finally sprinkle the cheese evenly over it.
2. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes or till the cheese melts.
3. Serve immediately.
